    Athletics:

    Track and Field: Practice in Sleepy Eye.  Congrats to River Valley girls on winning the Tomahawk Conference Championship!!!  And congrats to Marley Hewitt who was named Tomahawk Conference Athlete of the Year!   

    Softball: Practice in Redwood.  The bus leaves at 325 pm. 

    Baseball: Games in Fairmont.  Dismissal at 1220 pm.

    Golf: Practice at the Mayflower.  The bus leaves at 325 pm.        

    Tennis: Section Semis and Finals in Sioux Falls.

    GBB: Coach Brook Christensen will be here today, May 16th, during RISE for a meeting with the Girls Basketball team.

     

    6th and 7th Graders: The 2025 Kleinschmidt Basketball Kamp forms are in the MS /HS Office. 

     

     

    Student Council:

    • Student Council members going on the Valleyfair trip on the 28th, please pick up a permission slip in the library. 
    • Anyone interested in being on the Student Council next school year, please pick up an application in the library.  Applications are due back by Friday, May 23rd.  Any questions, please see Ms. Tietz. 

     

    Middle School/High School:

     

    Senior High Lunch – Gym will not be available today during lunch due to throwing and kicking of balls. 

     

    All students: Please check your backpacks, lockers and at home for any library books you may have and return them to the library if you are done reading them.  ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 21ST. 

     

    Seniors with library books that need to get turned in or you will be charged replacement cost:

    Seniors:  Please turn in your senior picture to Ms. Sorenson if you’ve not done so already.  This needs to be done ASAP.  Turn in your grad party info to Gayle Hoffmann so she can do the compilation for the class.  Thanks!

     

    REMINDER: Bottles of water for sale in the health office can only be purchased before school, at lunch or after school, not during passing times or class times.  Water is $1.00 each. 

     

    Upcoming early dismissals and no school:

    • May 26th: No school to observe the Memorial Day holiday.
    • May 29th: Last day of school.  Early dismissal at 1202 pm.
    • May 30th: Graduation!  No school.  

     

    General:

     

    As you all know now, May is mental health awareness month.  In an effort to bring awareness while on the journey to break the stigma surrounded by mental health, Lauren Hoffmann is claiming Tuesday the 20th as ‘Paint Our School Green Day.’  Please join to bring awareness and wear Green that day.
